2017年末にらすてぃーがネットでメンバーを募集し、初期段階で残ったメンバーにより結成。
音楽が軸にありつつ、メンバーの活動(絵やトーク、物販など)含め、世界的に「茶封筒」という文化を作ろうとしている。
音楽を通してひとつの作品を作っている感覚なので、あまりジャンルなどは意識せず、やりたいことを実現しているバンド。
コロナ禍以前は年間100本近いライブに出演。下北沢を中心に活動
