This morning event isn’t focused on “playing” the ukulele—it’s designed for you to simply “give it a try” or discover “what kind of instrument the ukulele is” while enjoying a drink.
If it’s your first time, feel free to play around with it as much as you like, try your hand at a simple song, or just chat about ukuleles and Hawaiian music. If you already own a ukulele, feel free to use this as an opportunity to improve your skills.
If you’d like, we can provide instruction on basic playing techniques or explain what to look for when buying a ukulele.
We’ll have ukuleles available for rent, so feel free to come empty-handed.
Of course, you’re welcome to join even if you just want to listen—no playing required!
